Dear Friends,
This might be the most exciting month in CYC Foundation history. Next week, we welcome our new Executive Director, Maggie Shea, to the CYC Foundation family. And our Annual Appeal is off to a fast start! To support our planned growth in the coming year, we’ve set an ambitious goal of raising $400,000 this quarter. In this issue of the Beacon, learn more about Maggie, her plans for the Foundation in 2025 and beyond, and how we’re going to raise the funds needed to make them happen.

I’d like to extend a special thanks to fellow CYC member Grant Crowley and the team at Boater’s Closet for including the Foundation in their special pop-up store at the old West Marine site in Chicago. If you shop at the store this coming month, and mention the CYC Foundation, the Foundation will receive 10 percent of your total purchase!
