2024 Annual Appeal Off to a Flying Start

The CYC Foundation is in the thick of our 2024 Annual Appeal! We have an ambitious goal, to raise $400,000 to fund an equally ambitious suite of programs in 2025. We're off to a strong start, but we can't do it without our dedicated supporters––YOU! We are especially inspired and excited this year, with a generous gift of $100,000 from the Captain Dave’s Foundation. Further, a consortium of donors has already committed $100,000 to match donations received during the fourth quarter. Every dollar you contribute will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000.

$10,000 funds the Sea Scout Ship Privateer for an entire season
$5,000 funds a five-day Adventure Boating Camp for up to 10 kids
$2,500 funds an introductory cruise on Lake Michigan for up to 75 kids
$1,000 enables one young woman to participate in our signature Lead HER Ship program, a five-day sail aboard the 77-foot Inland Seas
$500 funds a month of community-based Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) after-school programs for 25 kids
$250 provides a sailing lesson for a group of Sea Scouts
$100 provides a child swimming lessons

All donors making gifts of $1,000 or more in 2024 will be invited to our Annual Donor Appreciation and Scholarship Dinner in May 2025 and have their names inscribed on our annual donor recognition board at CYC's Monroe Station.
