Dear Friends,

It’s hot here in Chicago this week, but it’s been a very hot summer here at your Chicago Yacht Club Foundation. We’ve already doubled the number of kids we served in 2023 with a massive expansion in programs. In this month’s edition of the Beacon, you’ll enjoy reading about this year’s class of Lead HER Ship participants and the tripling in size of our very successful swimming school.

This Thursday, please join us for a free event at Monroe Station: We’re hosting a casual dessert and prosecco reception for Foundation friends. Chicago Yacht Club members can register on the Club calendar, but you don't need to be a member to attend! Everyone else, please email programs@chicagoyachtclubfoundation.org to RSVP. I hope to see you. And I also hope you’ll plan to join us at this year’s Chicago Regatta on Saturday, September 7th. We’d be grateful if you’d attend and support the Foundation in any way that you can––race in the regatta, participate in the boat parade, make a donation. Or all three!
