Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed a great holiday season, and that 2024 is off to a good start for you. I’m thrilled to share some great news with you. Thanks to your extraordinary generosity, the Chicago Yacht Club Foundation completed a successful 2023 Annual Appeal, raising more than $300,000 to support our programs and those of our partners. We are grateful to more than 240 donors who helped us make this happen. A complete list of Annual Appeal donors is below – thanks to you all!

I know you will enjoy this month’s edition of the Beacon. Learn more about our new partnership with St. Joseph Services, based in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago. Thanks to our outstanding Program Manager, Francesca Sigmond, we’ve been able to offer a series of after-school programs to the kids at St. Joseph. They’re excited to learn more about boating, and get out on the water this summer! Also, I know you will enjoy this month’s Donor Spotlight, featuring my good friends Tom and Mary Falck. Their support and encouragement inspires us to continue making a difference in the lives of Chicagoland kids!
