Eight Bells Stan Mehaffey

Last month, we lost a good friend and longtime member of the sailing community, Stan Mehaffey.  Stan was a friend of the Foundation and a longtime member of Chicago Yacht Club, having competed in 30 Chicago Yacht Club Races to Mackinac, skippering his T-10 Talisman for many of those Races.  Stan also served as Chairman of the Old Guard Committee (CYC’s 25 most senior members).  We are grateful to have had Stan as a friend and fellow boater, and are grateful to his wife Barbara and the entire Mehaffey family for designating the Foundation as a recipient of gifts made in Stan’s memory.  If you would like to make a donation in Stan’s memory, please click here.
