In 2023 the Foundation expanded after school program offerings, during which students in kindergarten through 12th grade learn about boating and related topics through hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) activities such as building boats or designing their own flags. After school programs are hosted at Chicago Yacht Club or the partner organizations location based on their preferences.

This year the Foundation has partnered with Saint Joseph's Services, South Loop Elementary School (CPS), Union League Boys and Girls Clubs, and SOS Children’s Villages Illinois to provide after school programs.
